Hakusensha Launches Hanamaru Manga Boys-Love Anthology

The Japanese publisher Hakusensha launched its boys-love anthology Hanamaru Manga on Thursday. Muku Ogura illustrated the cover of the first volume (pictured right).
Akira Honma (The Judged/Sabakareshi Mono, Last Portrait/Saigo no Shōzō) created a manga called Bōzu Kawai-ya Keza Made Itoshi about a Buddhist monk. Other creators in the first volume include Nase Yamato (Cigarette Kisses, Pet On Duty), Higashi Nishida (Negai Kanae Tamae), Kano Miyamoto (Say Please, Lovers and Souls), Tetuzoh Okadaya (The Man of Tango), Shibito Koiwazurai, Hebiko Habuyama, Yuya Hirakita, and Sansuke Yamada.
The second volume is slated to ship on October 28 with contributors Makoto Tateno (Yellow), Kanako Meiji, Puku Okuyama, Kebin Komine, and Kita Konno.
