Daily Video: Ro-Kyu-Bu! Song Performed in Character

Ro-Kyu-Bu — the group of voice actresses who will star in the television anime of the same name — posted the above 45-second preview version of the music video for the anime's opening theme song "Shoot!" on Friday. The five voice actresses, Kana Hanazawa, Yuka Iguchi, Yōko Hikasa, Rina Hidaka, and Yui Ogura, dance in the video in basketball uniforms.
The music video complements the earlier live-action teaser video with the same voice actresses that debuted last week.
In a separate development, the first 92-second Ro-Kyu-Bu! promotional video that is actually animated was posted on YouTube under a new account named "mrLazuri" on Friday.
Sagu Aoyama's original Ro-Kyu-Bu! light novel series centers around a high school freshman boy named Subaru Hasegawa who joined the basketball team, but the team stopped playing due to the captain being suspected of being a lolicon. Subaru somehow ends up as a coach of an elementary school's basketball team with five girls.
The anime will premiere in Japan on July 1, and the "Shoot!" single will go on sale on August 17. The official website of the anime relaunched on Friday.
