VitaminX Addiction Anime's Promotional Movie Streamed
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website of the VitaminX Addiction original anime DVD project began streaming a promotional video on Tuesday. (In the linked site, select the "Special" option from the bottom menu.) The video, which does not contain actual animated footage, was first screened at the "Storm Lover" event on April 30. The anime adapts HuneX/D3 Publisher's VitaminX dating simulation game for female players.
The story is set at Seitei Gakuen, an elite private academy that teaches every level from kindergarten until college in Tokyo. A new female teacher named Yūri Minami is starting her second year of teaching here, and she is now moving up from teaching middle school students to the assignment she had sought after: grammar for high school students. Unfortunately, she gets assigned to "Class X," an infamous group of seniors; it is said that all of their previous teachers have retired due to ulcers or neurosis. Minami must try to reach out to these students and get them into college.
The anime will ship on three monthly 25-minute DVDs starting on July 15. People who order online directly from D3 Publisher will receive a special "Chi VitaminX" Flash anime as well as an exclusive box and booklet with each volume.
