Nausicaä BD Dated in Japan for July 14

The Japanese online retailer Neowing lists a July 14 Blu-ray Disc release for Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind film. This film will be the first Ghibli animated feature with a Blu-ray Disc in Japan aside from 2008's Ponyo. According to Neowing, the Blu-Ray release will include special packaging, video extras, and other bonus materials to be determined later.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released Ponyo on Blu-ray and DVD in North America on March 2. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment Japan had already confirmed last month that it would release Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind on Blu-ray this summer.
