Frontier Works Plans Bishōjo TV Anime for This Summer
posted on by Egan Loo
A staffer from the Frontier Works production and distribution company revealed in a March 4 blog entry that his company is planning an unannounced bishōjo anime for television this summer. The company held an internal meeting about the project. The project already has a key visual image, and the Frontier Works staffer teased a mosaic version of the image on the blog. The staffer added that the Frontier Works home page and other sources will announce the project soon, and asked for the fans' patience and patronage.
In addition to this new television anime project, Frontier Works is also planning to push a television anime adaptation of Ryukishi07/07th Expansion's Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry - Seagulls) mystery suspense dōjin game this summer. In ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine in January, Frontier Works reported that it was developing an anime adaptation of a big hit PC game. In the past, Frontier Works worked on the Air movie, Fate/stay night, ToHeart2 adplus, and Utawarerumono.
