posted on by Egan Loo
The A-Kon convention has announced that the LM.C and camino bands will perform in Dallas during the May 29-31 event. The LM.C duo of vocalist maya and Aiji debuted in 2006 with their "Trailers [Gold]" and "Trailers [Silver]" singles and a relatively different take on visual-kei rock. LM.C contributed two opening theme songs for the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! television anime series and two ending theme songs for the Red Garden television anime series. LM.C will perform on the first night of the convention, Friday, May 29. The duo had previously performed at Anime Expo 2008's Battle of the Bands.
The camino group formed in 2002 and have been performing ever since, despite frequent roster changes. Among other songs, the group performed the "Nostalgia" opening theme for the Koutetsu Sangokushi television anime series, the "Lovin' Moon" insert song for the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2nd Kiss game, and the "Story" opening theme song for the live-action Tomica Hero: Rescue Force series.
