Tales of Vesperia RPG to Get Theatrical Film This Year

Kadokawa to release film with director Kanta Kamei, voice Kōsuke Toriumi

This month's special issue of Kinema Junpō magazine will announce that Kadokawa Pictures will adapt Namco's Tales of Vesperia role-playing game for the Xbox 360 console into a theatrical film this year. Kanta Kamei (Digimon: Diaboromon Strikes Back animation director, Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren visual supervisor) will direct, and Kōsuke Toriumi (Basilisk, Di Gi Charat, Naruto, To Heart) will play a voice role in it. The original game was released in Japan on August 7 and then in the United States on August 26.
