New Dragon Ball, Tegami Bachi Anime Now Streaming
posted on by Egan Loo
Shueisha's Jumpland website is now streaming three of the anime specials — Dragon Ball, Tegami Bachi, and Romance Dawn — that were screened at this fall's Jump Super Anime Tour events. The free streaming began on Monday, the day after the last stop on the tour, and it will last until January 31. There are no apparent restrictions on viewers outside Japan, although the video uses the Jumpland browser which requires Microsoft Windows.
Dragon Ball manga creator Akira Toriyama himself drafted the story about the fan-favorite character Vegeta's younger brother Tarble (Table) for the tour's anime special. The special is the first new Dragon Ball anime episode in a decade. Tegami Bachi, Hiroyuki Asada's manga about a messenger boy in a strange fantasy land, was animated for the first time for this tour. Also for the first time, the Romance Dawn anime special adapted Eiichiro Oda's "prototype" manga that eventually evolved into his hit One Piece series.
