Wings mag to mark TV adaptation of original audio drama with new manga run
The Japanese publisher Shinshokan has announced that the manga adaptation of the Café Kichijouji de audio drama will restart in Monthly Wings magazine's November issue (on sale on September 28). The manga's new run will commemorate the live-action television drama adaptation that is scheduled to premiere on September 29. The original "heartful comedy" story deals with the daily life of the five quirky male employees of a café in Tokyo's Kichijouji neighborhood.
Writer Yuki Miyamoto and artist Kyoko Negishi had adapted the first drama CD volumes into a three-part manga series. Digital Manga Publishing released those three volumes in North America. A special poster will be bundled with Wings' October issue when it ships next month.
