Japanese Florist Chain to Sell Pokémon-Based Bouquet
posted on by Egan Loo
Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: The Hibiya Kaden chain of over 140 florist stores will offer a bouquet shaped like the featured character in the latest Pokémon movie. Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl: Giratina to Sora no Hanataba (Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet), the 11th film in the series, will open in Japan on July 19. The Kansha Hanataba (The Bouquet of Thanks) is based on Shaymin (Sheimi in Japanese), the rare Grass Pokémon that will make its anime debut in this movie. The name of the bouquet reflects the theme of Shaymin, who will also be available to game players via wireless data download at the theaters showing the film. The mini bouquet will sell for 1,574 yen (about US$14.61) from July 1 to September 15.
