Eagle, Zipang's Kaiji Kawaguchi to Draw 1-Shot Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
This year's 18th issue (released on April 3) of Kodansha's Morning manga magazine announced that Eisner-Award-nominated manga creator Kaiji Kawaguchi (Eagle, The Silent Service, Zipang) will draw a one-shot manga in the next issue (on sale on April 10). The 48-page story will be called Yakusha Samurai Bishōnosuke (Samurai Actor Bishōnosuke). In the same magazine, Kawaguchi is still drawing Zipang, the alternate-history epic about a modern Japanese destroyer ship sent back into time to World War II. Viz Media published Eagle ("The Making of an Asian-American President") in North America, while Geneon Entertainment released the anime version of Zipang.
