North Star's Hara Draws Famitsu; Famitsu Returns Favor

Fist of the North Star and Fist of the Blue Sky artist Tetsuo Hara drew Weekly Famitsu's Necky fox mascot for the cover of the game magazine's 1,007th issue. (Famitsu published its 1,000th issue earlier this year, and Necky is named after the Japanese word for fox, kitsune, spelled backwards.) Necky's creator Susumu Matsushita (Kiba, Monkey Magic) returned the favor by drawing the cover of the 16th issue of Shinchosha's Weekly Comic Bunch magazine. Both magazine issues shipped on March 21. The two magazines also published a two-part discussion between the two artists, and offered two signed sketches of the cover images in a giveaway to the readers.
