Coverage of Gundam, Galaxy Express 999 Train Events

The Yomiuri Shimbun paper has posted a picture of the Gundam monument that will be erected at Seibu's Kamiigusa train station in Tokyo's Suginami ward (an area known as "Gundam's town" thanks to the nearby studios of Sunrise) on March 23. The Seibujin no Tetsudōki blog posted pictures of the Gundam headmark promoting the event.

The Mainichi Shimbun and Fuji Sankei papers have posted pictures of Galaxy Express 999's "Conductor-san" character serving as stationmaster for a day at a Tokyo train station. The March 16 event included Galaxy Express 999 and Space Battleship Yamato creator Leiji Matsumoto and a Maetel cosplayer.
