Washington's Japanese Embassy to Screen Lovely Complex

Live-action manga film to be screened for free with English subtitles Thursday
The Japan Information and Culture Center of the Embassy of Japan and the DC Anime Club will screen the live-action Lovely Complex movie at the center's Washington, D.C. location on January 24. The film adapts Aya Nakahara's manga about a tall girl and a short boy who just might be the perfect couple, height difference aside. The film will be shown for free (with RSVP) in Japanese with English subtitles. Viz Pictures is releasing on English-subtitled DVD in North America on February 19. (Viz Media has been releasing the original manga in North America as well.)
