Yakitate!! Japan's Hashiguchi to Launch Medical Manga

Shonen Sunday to serialize Saijō no Meii manga about pediatrics
Takashi Hashiguchi, the creator of the Yakitate!! Japan bread-baking manga and anime series, will start a medical manga called Saijō no Meii in the first 2008 issue (on sale December 5, 2007) of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. With this manga, Hashiguchi will return to the same magazine that serialized Yakitate, although Weekly Shonen Sunday's Japanese website describes the new manga as "just a tiny bit more serious" than Yakitate. The manga will deal with pediatrics and patients ranging from childbirth to 15 years of age.
