posted on by Egan Loo
DC Comics has announced its investment in Flex Comix, a publisher of manga magazines such as Bimonthly Comi DiGi Plus and the defunct Monthly Shōnen Blood, as well as web and mobile phone manga. DC already imports manga through its CMX imprint. Flex Comix was established in November of 2006, and Flex's manga titles include Polyphonica. John Nee, DC's vice-president of business development, indicated that his company's main interests are importing and franchising Flex's manga titles, which are serialized online before being compiled in print.
