Akamatsu's Thoughts on Negima

Following last week's announcement (and retraction) of the censorship of Negima, the manga artist himself commented on the issue. A mis-interpretation while translating his 2/22 entry lead some fans to believe he is "angry" with the edits. This is not true. In his 2/26 entry, Akamatsu clarifies his position, saying "[I] am not mad. During the translation process to English, there was a misunderstanding. Rather, I am amused.". On 2/27, Del Rey announced that Negima will not be edited, hopefully putting all concerned parties at ease.
