Kiddy Grade licensed by FUNimation

FUNimation has informed ANN that they will are announcing the license to Kiddy Grade at AKon today.
FUNimation is expecting to release Kiddy Grade in early 2004, with production starting later this year. As Kiddy Grade is aimed more at the core anime fans, rather than the mainstream market like Dragon Ball Z, fans should expect a "Fruits Basket like treatment." Although exact details are not available yet, "staying true to course", dub quality and episode count were mentioned.
