Live Action Kite

ScreenDaily reports that Rob Cohen (Director of XXX, The Fast and the Furious) has acquired the rights to remake Kite into a live-action film. Cohen has stated that he will not include "graphic adult situations", particularly of the rape found in the anime. Thanks goes to bee on the forum for the link.
