Yoko Kanno at NY Anime Festival

The New York Anime Festival has just announced that Yōko Kanno, perhaps the most famous and revered composer of anime music, will be present this weekend at the festival.

KANNO YOKO ATTENDING NY ANIME FILM FESTIVAL
Anime Colony and Japan Society was excited to announce that fan-favorite anime music singer-composer Kanno Yoko will be attending the New York Anime Film Festival. According to representatives of Yoko, who is famous for composing the music for such anime as Escaflowne, Macross Plus, and Please Save My Earth, she would be willing to perform on the piano at the festival.
