Pioneer Shipping postponed

According to a post on Anime on DVD's retail foru Pioneer, which also distributes Bandai and Viz titles, will not be shipping any Anime until October 13th.
"Pioneer Entertainment will be closing down Anime distribution operations from Sept. 22nd until about October 13th for a much needed order entry and inventory system upgrade to SAP. During his upgrade, there will be a shipping blackout on all Pioneer and Bandai Anime titles. In anticipation of this longer than expected blackout, we have brought in lots of additional stock on most Pioneer and Bandai titles, but it is inevitable that a few shortages may occur, so I ask that you bear with us during this period, and assure you that any titles that may become backordered will ship immediately upon us receiving restocks after Pioneer begins shipping again in mid-October"
In a somewhat related mater, it has also come to light recently that DVD fan favorite online retailer, Express.com, may be having some financial dificulties and is therefore on COD terms with some of its suppliers.
