BanG Dream! Animated Ad Promotes Kirin Tea

Beverage company Kirin released a collaboration ad with the BanG Dream! anime on Monday promoting its afternoon tea brand. The 30-second ad unveils an original song "White Afternoon," which was created for the ad.
The ad was animated by SANZIGEN, a 3D animation studio which produced the anime's second season. The ad shows the main characters of the anime spending their winter days, playing in the band together, and drinking the warm tea.
The full version of the ad's "White Afternoon" song was released on Monday on music streaming and downloading services, including iTunes Japan and Apple Music.
Bushiroad launched the BanG Dream! multimedia project in January 2015, and the company formed the Poppin' Party band for the project in February 2015. The BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone game launched in Japan in March 2017, and an English version launched in April. The BanG Dream! television anime's first 13-episode season premiered in January 2017. The second season debuted on January 3 this year, and the third season will premiere in January 2020. The BanG Dream! FILM LIVE film opened in Japan on September 13.
