Zombie Land Saga Idols Will Sing Their Hearts Out for Curry

The undead idols of Zombie Land Saga are moving up from fried chicken restaurants to Nissin's Curry Meshi instant curry rice. The Franchouchou idols appear in a new visual drawn by series character designer Kasumi Fukagawa and will star in a new commercial on October 3.
The commercial will include a new song by Franchouchou, "Kagayaite (Curry Meshi ver.)" written by Zombie Land Saga opening theme composer Yūsuke Katō and lyricist Shin Furuya. The anime's director Munehisa Sakai is also returning for the music video.

Nissin will release a special Zombie Land Saga instant curry box set that will include a clear file, six types of Curry Meshi, and the new song on a CD, all in a special box. Pre-orders will open for the box set on October 3.
MAPPA, Avex Pictures, and Cygames' Zombie Land Saga anime premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the 12-episode series as it aired, and Funimation streamed an English dub.
The anime follows Sakura Minamoto, who dreams of being an idol, but is hit by a car and wakes up as a zombie. A man named Kōtarō Tatsumi appears and tells her he's recruiting her into an idol group made up of zombies, dead girls he has "recruited" from several eras of Japanese history.
The anime is getting a sequel project titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge.
