Fairy Tail Characters Merge With Mameshiba In Anime Short
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
I've seen all kinds of initiatives to try convince veggie-adverse folk to eat more greens, but Mameshiba might be the cutest. Dentsu's Mameshiba brand characters (literally, "bean-shiba") are mysterious creatures that are not quite beans nor Shiba dogs, but something in between.
The veggie dogs got brand-new powers on Friday when the characters collaborated with the ongoing anime series Fairy Tail. Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and the crew are reimagined as dog-beans in a special video.
Detsu began marketing Mameshiba in the U.S. and in 2009 and the characters appeared in Mameshiba: On the Loose!, MAMESHIBA: ENCHANTED, and Mameshiba Character Guide in 2011.
Mashima's Fairy Tail manga series follows the adventures of world's most notorious mage guild, Fairy Tail. The manga launched in 2006 and ended last July. The most recent and final anime season based on the manga premiered in Japan on October 7. Crunchyroll and Funimation are streaming the anime with English subtitles. Funimation is also streaming an English dub.
