Yamaha Teams Up With Sound! Euphonium For Musical Item Giveaway
posted on by Kim Morrissy
If you're in Japan and watching Sound! Euphonium has inspired you to pick up a brass or woodwind instrument, then now may be the best time to buy a new instrument. Musical instrument retailer Yamaha will launch a giveaway campaign with the Sound! Euphonium series from March 1 to June 30. For each 50,000 yen (US$451) you spend on eligible items, you will enter the draw for prizes. Given how expensive musical instruments are, purchasing even a single instrument will give you multiple entries to the draw.
The eligible instruments are the flute, piccolo, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, flugelhorn, cornet, horn, trombone, tenor horn, baritone horn, euphonium, tuba, and marching brass instruments.
The Artist Special Prize goes to one person. It involves a 60-minute private lesson and consultation with a Yamaha-recommended artist. The Sound! Euphonium prize, which is a Bluray copy of the two recap films, goes to five people. The A-G prizes are various electronics from the Yamaha store, such as a sound projector and earphones.
Everyone who enters the draw will get an image from the upcoming Hibike! Euphonium: Chikai no Finale (Sound! Euphonium The Movie: Oath's Finale) film for their smartphones. Also, 40 people who did not win any of the above prizes will win Sound! Euphonium original goods. Prizes will be delivered around late July to early August.
Hibike! Euphonium: Chikai no Finale will open in Japan on April 19. In the film's story, Kumiko is now a second year and the senior player of the euphonium section.
