Manga artist Kentarō Satō revealed another plot twist on Twitter on November 23: he's totally ripped. The Magical Girl Site creator posted a picture of himself shirtless with his face obscured to announce his upcoming appearance on the Japanese competition show Sasuke, or as it's known in the U.S., Ninja Warrior.

Satō wrote on Twitter that he'll compete on the New Year's Eve special broadcast and is wearing the #47 on his back in the episode.
The special episode will air at 6:00 p.m. on December 31 on Japan's TBS stations. The episode will have 100 total contestants and program staff will start introducing the ninja hopefuls on its Twitter account tomorrow.
Satō (Magical Girl Apocalypse) launched the Magical Girl Site horror manga on the Champion Tap! manga website in July 2013, before moving it to Weekly Shōnen Champion in September 2017. Akita Shoten published 12th volume on November 8. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English.
The manga inspired a television anime that premiered on April 6 and ended in June. The anime streamed on Amazon Prime Video outside of Japan.
Earlier this year, Asobi Asobase director Seiji Kishi shared his success after hiring a physical trainer to help him achieve his weight goals.
