The adorable Sanrio mascots Little Twin Stars are keeping their third member and musical talent Shōta Aoi with them for a bit longer. Aoi, known for his musical chops in the idol anime DYNAMIC CHORD, King of Prism: PRIDE the HERO, MARGINAL #4 the Animation, Utano☆Princesama Legend Star, Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION, and Shōnen Hollywood - Holly Stage for 50 is teamed up with Little Twin Stars for collaborative merchandise and events in February. The characters and idol's latest collab is mook detailing all their work together.
The Shōta Aoi × Little Twin Stars Collab Official BOOK will be published on January 30, 2019. The book shows Aoi as his Twin Stars persona "Shōtan" along with the mascot character he designed, Tamutamu. Tamutamu is best described as a white, puffy rabbit in a purple witch hat.
The book includes details and photos from previous collaboration events and bundles three nail polishes, a top coat bottle, a nail file, and stickers.
Sanrio characters team up with real life celebrities from time to time. Hello Kitty is well known for her multiple collaborations with everything under the sun. Sanrio's white puppy Cinnamon mascot teamed up with both voice actor Hiro Shimono and the Golden Bomber band. Cinnamon, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pom Pom Purin, and Little Twin Stars are all featured in the currently airing anime series Sanrio Boys.
