Weird Evangelion merchandise is rarely surprising nowadays. There's so much to choose from, whether its character-themed lingerie, fishing gear, or children's clothing and all of it is ready to cash in your need to collect it all. This particular shoulder cushion, however, shows there's still some creativity to tap into when it comes to Evangelion knickknacks
The cushion is similar to the small donuts used for comfort on an airplane if they were mega-sized. Buyers can wear it around their necks and gain the statuesque shoulders of Unit 01 as it appears in the Evangelion remake films. The Evangelion Store will begin shipping the pillows in early September for 5,184 yen (US$47). It isn't immediately clear if the purchase includes two shoulder pillows or just one.
Similarly, Evangelion stores will also sell new Emergency warning pillows at the same time for 4,860 yen (US$44).
