Grand Blue Dreaming's Camera App Filter Lets Fans Become Cakey

The Grand Blue Dreaming anime is collaborating with the BeautyPlus camera app. The app is now letting users transform themselves into Aina "Cakey" Yoshiwara as she appeared in the anime's fourth episode. The episode features a beauty pageant, and Cakey becomes a key character as she wears a blond wig and extremely heavy makeup.
Voice actress Kana Asumi, who plays Aina in the anime, already experimented with the camera app's Cakey filter.

The collaboration is also running a Twitter campaign to offer a chance to win one of three scripts signed by eight of the anime's cast members. To participate, fans have to follow the anime's official Twitter account, take a picture with the Cakey filter, and tweet the picture with the campaign hashtags. The deadline to participate is September 5.
The anime premiered on July 13, and it is streaming inside and outside of Japan only on Amazon Prime Video.
