Voice Actors Atsuko Enomoto, Mark Ishii Announce Divorce

Voice actors Atsuko Enomoto and Mark Ishii posted a joint message on both of their Twitter accounts on Thursday to announce their divorce.
In the message, Enomoto and Ishii stated that their visions for the future gradually changed while living together. They said that the decision was painful but decided it would be best if they "walk separate paths" going forward. Enomoto and Ishii noted that they did enjoy and appreciate the time they spent together. They said they plan to continue to support each other "as friends with many common interests and as colleagues trying [their] best in the same industry."
Enomoto and Ishii married in February 2016. At the time of their marriage, the two both shared on Twitter that they met on a program. They found out that they shared many of the same interests and understood each other about work.
Enomoto has voiced characters in anime such as His and Her Circumstances (Yukino), Steel Angel Kurumi (Kurumi), Angelic Layer (Misaki), Futari wa Precure Splash Star (Cure Egret), Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino (Triela), and Cardfight!! Vanguard (Emi).
Ishii debuted in 2014 in the Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There as Sayaka's brother. He has since voiced roles in such anime as Cardfight!! Vanguard G and Cardfight!! Vanguard G GIRS Crisis (Chrono Shindō), as well as Gundam: Reconguista in G (protagonist Bellri Zenam), Haikyu!! Second Season (Lev Haiba), and Love Rice (Hikari Hino).
