Take a Dip with Gudetama at 2 Collaboration Bathhouses

Sanrio's most popular and lethargic mascot wants to spend his lazy days with you at the bathhouse. Gudetama, an egg full of ennui, took over the Gokurakuyu bathhouse's Raku Spa in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka and the Gokurakuyu spa in Suita, Osaka on Friday. Visitors can hop into the locale's bath with approximately 10,000 Gudetama balls, take photos with Gudetama props, enjoy mascot-themed food, and buy exclusive merchandise.
While other attractions are available now, the bath full of Gudetama balls will open on June 15 and run until June 24.
The collaboration menu has five different items ranging from full meals to desserts. Tasty options include a roast beef bowl, chicken udon, egg and bacon carbonara, fluffy meringue rice, and a caramel pudding parfait. Gudetama coasters are awarded with each menu purchase. The coasters include a QR code to download character images.
The collaboration was also held at the Raku Spa location in Tsurumi, Yokohama but ended on May 4.
Despite the mascot's attributed laziness, Gudetama is a popular collaboration partner. He paired with The Seven Deadly Sins anime series, Michael Bay's Transformers, Godzilla, and many more.
