posted on by Jennifer Sherman
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Takara Tomy's Beyblade toy franchise in 2019, the staff of the Bakuten!! Shoot Beyblade Bar announced its return on Thursday. The bar will again offer alcohol and the chance to enjoy Beyblade battles for adult fans.
The bar debuted in Ikebukuro, Tokyo in January 2017, and more than 6,000 people visited. The revival will open at Cafe Address inside the Ikebukuro Parco department store in Tokyo on March 15 and will run until April 15. The bar's hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The bar will feature a battle space with Beyblade toys available to borrow. Cocktails inspired by Beyblade toys will include Phantom Cassis Milk based on Dragoon F, and Fang Kahlua Milk based on Driger F, for 780 yen (about US$7) each. More than 150 Beyblade toys will be on display, and the bar will also screen the Beyblade anime.
Ikebukuro's Sunshine City complex will host this year's Beyblade Burst Asia Championship on March 31.
The Beyblade Burst Chōzetsu television anime will premiere in April.
