The Kemono Friends "Do Re Mi Fa Rondo" Music Video is Way Too Cute

A new music video shared by the official Kemono Friends Twitter account has fans speculating that with TATSUKI and Yaoyorozu's removal from the series, a character redesign is underway. The music video is a cover of the Hatsune Miku song "Do Re Mi Fa Rondo." This "Friends version" is sung by Kemono Friends-based idol groups Dōbutsu Biscuit and PPP, which are made up of the series' voice actresses. The song is from the Japari Café2 character song album that includes newly recorded music.
Notably, the music video shows a unique version of the series' characters. The staff recruited Tama, the original artist behind the music video for the Hatsune Miku version by the original song's producer 40mP, to create the music video.
It's anyone's guess what the new Kemono Friends series will look like. It's notable that since TATSUKI and Yaoyorozu are no longer with the project, other tie-in videos have shown only silhouettes or are live-action commercials. The gossip website Buzz Plus News wrote that Sunrise may animate the new season, citing an anonymous source.
