At 9,000 yen (US$81) the sweatshirt is certainly up there with other ready-to-buy cosplay costumes. Pre-orders are open now and orders are scheduled to ship in June.
If you're looking to take Popuko into your dreams, ACOS is also selling a ring pillow of the character's face. Buyers can also combine both items and use the pillow as a special attack to rei-enact a scene from the original manga. The pillow costs 4320 yen (US$39) and will ship in April.
The girls of Pop Team Epic are slowly integrating into everything, starting with the Skyrim video game. The series' unique brand of comedy is succeeding even if its own director doesn't get it.
