Kill Me Baby Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint in Kirara Fantasia Game
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Kill Me Baby anime is getting a new lease on life. The anime returned to streaming services in Japan in 2016 and will now be added into publisher Houbunsha's Kirara Fantasia game, albeit with some adjustments.
The Kill Me Baby anime found itself in the midst of a scandal after voice actress Ai Takabe (Agiri Goshiki) was arrested for drug charges in 2015 but she was not prosecuted. After her arrest, Kill Me Baby was pulled from Amazon's streaming service.
The three main Kill Me Baby characters appeared in Kirara Fantasia on Friday, which includes Takabe's character Agiri Goshiki. The official Kirara Fantasia Twitter account announced that the character will now be voiced by Minami Shinoda (Flying Witch's Makoto Kowata).

Since the announcement, fans have commented speculating that this could mark a revival of Kill Me Baby, or even a second anime season.
Kill Me Baby adapts Kaduho's four-panel comedy manga of the same name. The manga follows Sonya, an assassin girl who goes to school between missions, and her fearless yet not-so-smart friend Yasuna. Joining them is Agiri, a ninja in Sonya's organization.
Since the charges were dropped, Ai Takabe has moved on even after her own agency cancelled its contract with her. She met and became engaged to a man described as an "elite representative of a major law firm" in October.
