Frieza Gives Up Conquering Worlds to Take Your Sushi Order
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
After yet another failed attempt to defeat Goku and his band of Super Saiyan fighters, Frieza has finally thrown in the towel and gotten a real job instead of terrifying the populous. Twitter user Flanker didn't so much spot Frieza, but heard him -- in the form of a sushi order machine.
It seems that voice actor Ryūsei Nakao provided the lines for the machine in the voice he uses when bringing the villain to life. Imagine going into a sushi restaurant only to hear one of anime's greatest foes taking your order.

The sushi restaurant is Hamazushi, and Nakao isn't just the voice of the restaurant chain's machines. He's also provided narration for their commercials.
While working with Frieza would be intimidating at first glance, he was actually voted as Japanese men's top choice for anime character bosses. Overall he was third in that poll, thanks in part to Levi's popularity from Attack on Titan.
So has Frieza reached a new low, or is he merely in a long game to claim supremacy over fast food?
