Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen and Sakuran manga creator Moyoco Anno has a new calendar of artwork for next year. Titled "Moyoco Girl," the calendar collects art from the last two years as well as new works by the artist. Highlights include images from her current manga Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen and aged up versions of the protagonists from Sugar Sugar Rune.
The calendar is limited edition with only 500 copies scheduled for production. The calendar costs 3,000 yen and can be purchased from Moyoco Anno's official website.
Several of Anno's manga have been adapted into anime series, including her autobiographical depiction of her life with her husband, Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno. She's the creator of Hataraki Man, In Clothes Called Fat, and The Diary of Ochibi-san. Both The Diary of Ochibi-san and Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen were the subjects of two episodes of Japan Animator Expo.
