Rie Kanō's Slow Motion o Mō Ichido Manga Featured on Akari Machi Album

Rei Kanō, the creator of the manga Slow Motion o Mō Ichido (Once More in Slow Motion) drew the inside cover art for singer Akari Machi's new album EXPO Machi Akari. Machi is a fan of television shows from the 80s and 90s while Slow Motion o Mō Ichido depicts a boy and girl who are big fans of 1980s idols. The jacket illustration depicts the manga's heroine Yakushimaru dressed as Akari Machi.
The album also includes the track "A to de ne" which was created as an image song for the manga series. The manga is featured in the song's music video (note the below video is region-locked).
Tokyo Tower Records' Ikebukuro store will hold a CD release event on July 29 with a mini live concert by Machi followed by a talk event and CD signing with Kanō.
The fourth volume of Slow Motion o Mō Ichido will be released on July 28.
