Takara Tomy's Fantasy Animals, Mr. Osomatsu Collaborate on Aquarium Tour

TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S and Kamio Japan's Kūsō Suizokukan (Fantasy Aquarium) characters are collaborating with Mr. Osomatsu to hold the "Honmono Suizokukan Tours" (Real Aquarium Tours) event this summer. TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S began streaming a promotional video for the event on Monday.
The Kūsō Suizokukan characters are composites of sea and land animals. For this collaboration, they will combine with the six Matsuno brothers from Mr. Osomatsu. The collaboration characters are (from upper left in the below image) are Usapen (rabbit penguin) and Usamatsu (Osomatsu), Rakkorisu (sea otter chipmunk) and Rakkorimatsu (Karamatsu), Ottoseinko (fur seal budgie) and Ottoseinkomatsu (Choromatsu), Hamuzarashi (hamster earless seal) and Hamumatsu (Ichimatsu) with ESP Shark Kitty, Kumarage (bear jellyfish) and Kumatsuge (Jūshimatsu), and Ko-usapen (baby rabbit penguin) and Ko-penmatsu (Todomatsu).
The collaboration will hold stamp rallies and special cafes at the participating aquariums. The characters will feature on collaboration merchandise available at the aquariums' shops.
The event is slated to run at aquariums throughout Japan from July to September. The event will run at Sunshine Aquarium, which is part of the Sunshine City shopping complex in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district, on September 8-24. The event will run at Kyoto Aquarium in Kyoto during an undecided period.
The Tokyo JOYPOLIS theme park is also running a Mr. Osomatsu event until July 2. A second season of the Mr. Osomatsu television anime has been green-lit.
