Although the theatrical screening of the new special episode was delayed, Is the order a rabbit?? is getting a new collaboration with the LAWSON chain of convenience stores in Japan. The campaign will kick off in stores throughout Japan on Monday.
Chino, Maya, and Megu, who make up the Chimame-Tai group, will feature on collaboration items. People who purchase two of the collaboration cup noodles will receive one of three clear files with special illustrations until May 31.
The campaign will also offer original merchandise for purchase beginning on May 23. The merchandise includes six varieties of rubber straps in blind boxes for 700 yen (about US$6) each, five varieties of PVC key holders for 800 yen (US$7) each, and a set of three clear files for 1,000 yen (US$9).
Beginning on May 30, the collaboration will offer sweets with bundled bonus items. The langue de chat ("cat tongue" cookies) chocolate cream cookies will bundle four varieties of magnet sheets and cost 370 yen (US$3). The gum will bundle seven varieties of mini illustration paper boards and cost 370 yen (US$3).
The LAWSON Print service will also offer four varieties of character bromides beginning on May 23. They will be available in two sizes for 300 yen (US$3) or 500 yen (US$4) each.
