Anime goods company MegaHouse announced a Dragon Ball Z VR headset called "BotsNew Characters VR DRAGONBALL Z" that will let fans do a Kamehameha attack and measure opponents' power levels.
The headset will be released at the end of June and will be retailing for 12,000 yen (US$110). It is designed to be used with a smartphone between 4 and 6 inches in size. Also included are finger controllers that use sensors to react to the user's gestures.
The toy set can be used together with a battle game smartphone app "Hachamecha Battle VR (tentative title)" and the AR apps "Kamehameha Experience AR (tentative title)" and "Ultimate Scouter AR (tentative title), which will let fans try out the Kamehameha on the environment around them and find out people's power levels.
Fans can try out the toy at the Megahouse booth at "Niconico Chou Kaigi 2017" at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City on April 29 and 30.
Dragon Ball Z fans got the chance to try out Goku's signature move at the Science of Dragon Ball Z exhibit in 2015.
