Ghost in the Shell Live-Action Film Props Go on Display at Art Expo

Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell in inspiring everything from high tech robots to live-action films. DreamWorks and Paramount's film staring Scarlett Johansson is set to premiere in the U.S. at the end of month and then in Japan on April 7. Before the film kicks off overseas, Japan is planning The Ghost in the Shell World Art Expo 2017 event at the Seibu Gallery in the Seibu Ikebukuro department store on April 3.
The expo will feature artwork previously shown at other shows and new manga and anime art for a total of 400 images. Props from the live-action film will also be on site. Merchandise previously only available at previous exhibitions will be available again as well.
A talk show with Ghost in the Shell film director Mamoru Oshii will take place at the venue on April 8.
