Final Fantasy Game Series Earns 3 Guinness Nods

The Final Fantasy game series earned itself three Guinness World Records; two for Final Fantasy XIV and one for the series as a whole. The awards were handed out at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival during the EU Fanfest 2017 event in Frankfurt on Sunday. Final Fantasy XIV producer and director Naoki Yoshida was on hand to accept the achievements.
Final Fantasy XIV was acknowledged for having the longest ending credit sequence and the most background music tracks. The game's ending clocks in at an hour and 38 minutes in length. The sequence not only includes the game's cast and staff but also the game's "Meteor Survivors," the list of 1.0 players who paid for a 90-day subscription and earned a "Legacy" status.
The MMORPG also has the most background music tracks with a total of 384 songs.
Finally, the franchise as a whole was acknowledged as having the most entries in a video game series with a 87 individual games.
