Robot Anime Director Masami Obari Marries Gundam Model Maker

Anime director Masami Ōbari announced on Twitter on Monday that he has married professional model maker Ritsu Togasaki. They held a ceremony in Okinawa on Monday and entered their names into a family register.

Obari said he is going to continue to do his best at his job. He also said that Togasaki is his "best and strongest partner" and the pair plan to cooperate as a couple. Obari wants "to make many rains of happiness come down" on them.
Togasaki also announced the union on Twitter:

Obari has served as an animator, mechanical designer, and director for numerous anime series. He is known for directing robot and mecha anime such as Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector, Detonator Orgun, and Gravion.
Togasaki works as a model maker for Gundam and other mecha model kits. She supervised the Yaritai Koto kara Hikeru! Gunpla Technical Bible model kit guidebook. According to Togasaki, she has also served as an animator, director, and mechanical designer.
