Play Ping Pong With Scorching Ping Pong Girls Voice Actresses

The official website for the Shakunetsu no Takkyū Musume (Scorching Ping Pong Girls) television anime announced on Thursday that it is collaborating with the Akiba Takkyū Style ping-pong lounge to hold a tournament-style event. Winners selected by lottery will get a chance to play a one-set match with Ayaka Imamura (pictured right), voice of Munemune, and Hisako Tōjō (pictured below left), voice of Kiruka Ushirode.
Winners will receive a racket signed by the anime's six main voice actresses. Winners will also receive a participation certificate with Imamura and Tōjō's handwritten messages.
The event will be held at Akiba Takkyū Style on November 20. Fans can enter for a chance to participate from October 20 to November 11, and winners will be announced on November 15.
People who visit Akiba Takkyū Style in Tokyo from October 20 to November 21 will have a chance to receive special Scorching Ping Pong Girls tin badges. A uniform from the anime's Suzumegahara Middle School and reproduced illustrations will also be on display.
The anime premiered on October 3, and Crunchyroll is streaming it as it airs.

The anime is based on Yagura Asano's Shakunetsu no Takkyū Musume manga. Yasuhiro Irie (Kurau: Phantom Memory, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Code:Breaker) is directing the anime at Kinema Citrus. Kaori (Yuyushiki, Bottom Biting Bug) is serving as assistant director. Hideyuki Kurata (Read or Die, Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens, Maria the Virgin Witch) is supervising the series' scripts. Junko Sugimura (Code:Breaker, Yuyushiki, Kumamiko key animation) is designing the characters for animation. MONACA (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Nanana's Buried Treasure, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) is handling the music, with DIVE II Entertainment credited for music production. The main six cast members are performing the anime's opening theme song "Shakunetsu Switch." Idol group Wake Up, Girls! is performing the ending theme song "Bokura no Frontier."
