FFXV Collaboration Model PS4 With Moon Image Planned for Release

Square Enix's upcoming Final Fantasy XV role-playing game is inspiring a collaboration model PlayStation 4. The tie-in console features a large image of the moon, one of the key motifs from the game. The lunar image also changes based on what angle a player views it. The console and controller include logos and character names in gold text.
The "PlayStation 4 Final Fantasy XV Luna Edition" will ship on November 29 in Japan, the same day as the game. The Japanese console bundle comes with a copy of the game, rental viewing rights of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film, an original theme product code, and necessary accessories for 39,980 yen (US$390). The console is Sony's CUH-2000/1TB or "PlayStation 4 Slim" version. This new version of the console along with the PlayStation 4 Pro were revealed earlier this month.
The U.S. PlayStation blog also announced the limited edition console be available exclusively at GameStop (EB Games in Canada) for US$449 USD/$549 CAD on November 29. The North American bundle includes Final Fantasy XV with an exclusive Steelbook, the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie Blu-ray, and multiple pieces of DLC – the Royal Raiment Outfit, Masamune Weapon, and Leviathan Regalia Skin.
Final Fantasy XV will also be released in a Deluxe Edition, which will come with a steelbook case, a copy of the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film, and three DLC items, including: a Royal Raiment outfit, a Masamune weapon, and a Platinum Leviathan recoloring of the Regalia vehicle. The Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order for US$89.99.
The Collector's Edition will include all the items in the Deluxe Edition, but also adds a 192-page art book, an Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis, a soundtrack that includes music from the game as well as the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime and the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film, a copy of the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime, and four additional items, including: a Travel Pack, Camera Kit, Angler Set, and Gourmand Set. The Collector's Edition retails for US$269.99.
Sony also announced new color variants of its PlayStation Vita handheld gaming console. The company will release silver and red versions on December 1 in Japan for 18,980 yen (US$185).
