Haikyu's Nekoma High Characters 'Beckon' as Cat Statues

Haikyu!! fans, bring yourself a little extra luck with Maneki-neko (Beckoning Cat) figures of Nekoma High's Kenma Kozume and Tetsurō Kuroo.
The set comes with the two 90 × 50 × 50 mm (3.5 × 2 × 2 inches) character cats for 2,500 yen (US$24.50). Animate Limited's website is accepting pre-orders now, with shipping scheduled for November.
Ensky Hobby tweeted that there are currently sample displays of the cats in five Animate store locations: Ikebukuro, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaki Nihonbashi, and Fukuoka Tenjin.
Maneki-neko, with their upright, beckoning paw, are said to bring good luck and are commonly displayed in the entrances of both Japanese and Chinese businesses.
The third season of Haikyu!!, Haikyu!! Karasuno Kōkō VS Shiratorizawa Gakuen Kōkō (Haikyu!! Karasuno High vs Shiratorizawa Academy), airs this fall. The first anime season premiered in April 2014 and the second in October 2015. The manga by Haruichi Furudate runs in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
