MBS Mascot Stars in Shiritsu Liyon Gakuen Anime Short Series

Japanese channel MBS launched a new series of anime shorts titled Shiritsu Liyon Gakuen (Liyon Private Academy) on Tuesday. The first 30-second episode is already available on MBS' website.
Liyon-chan, the station's mascot, is the series' protagonist. In the series, Liyon-chan is transported into a school into another world. Various episodes will deal with school trips and club activities.
The cast includes:
- Mamoru Miyano as Liyonel Tezukayama (leftmost in image above), a quarter-German who is a genius in the arts
- Daiki Yamashita as Raiya Maishima (second from left), a bright and cheerful basketball player
- Yūki Kaji as Riyon Sakuranomiya (second from right), a delinquent on the outside, but actually cares a lot
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Raito Shitennoji (rightmost), the student council president and public morals committee president with the best grades
MBS has not revealed the voice actor for Liyon-chan. The character debuted as MBS' mascot in 2003, and also currently stars in a monthly four-panel comic in Mainichi Shimbun.
