Job Listing in Japan Seeks Mr. Osomatsu Fans to Help with Their Favorite Show
posted on by Eric Stimson
Mr. Osomatsu may have inspired pages and pages of fanart, but a new listing on the Japanese employment listing website an gives fans a chance to actually contribute to the production of their favorite show. The listing seeks a "hatarakimatsu" (hataraki means "working") to take part in editing sessions for a series of shorts to be included on the Mr. Osomatsu Blu-Ray/DVDs, as well as provide suggestions for menu design. In addition, the hatarakimatsu will offer suggestions on editing and advertising for the Mr. Osomatsu manga books.
Aside from seeing Mr. Osomatsu shorts before anyone else, the hatarakimatsu will get a special staff hoodie, the Blu-Rays/DVDs they worked on as gifts, and a 60,000-yen wage ($544; 10,000 yen for each Matsuno brother, of course). There will only be one position available, and the deadline is April 17, with the applicant to be chosen on April 19. The application is here.
