Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block began streaming a new commercial on Monday for Wit Studio's original television anime series Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri). The video features the main cast giving a message to fans and features animation from the upcoming series.

Text: Shibuya-only commercial
Cast: Everyone currently walking through Shibuya!
Hatanaka: We...
Senbongi: We participated in Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri with everything we had.
Uchida: And it's finally going to begin broadcasting on April 7 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block, and will air every Thursday at at 24:55.
Biba: I won't run away!
Mumei: Don't get a big head even though you're weak!
Ayame: Is the Kabaneri the enemy of man? Or is it our ally?
Kurusu: My life exists to destroy the Kabane!
Cast: Please look forward to it!

The video is screening at the big public television screen at the famous Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. The staff also held additional advertising events at Shibuya station on Monday.

Staff dressed as "Kabane" from the show passed out tissues and wandered around the area.

The show also has an advertisement along a wall in the underground area around the Shibuya 109 store that fans can peel off to eventually reveal an image, and the items peeled off are a mask.

The station itself also has several advertisements for various Noitamina shows until April 10.

A temporary store inside the station is also selling merchandise for the show.

The anime is slated to premiere on April 7 during Fuji TV's Noitamina timeslot. The first episode will air at 24:25 (effectively 12:25 a.m. on April 8), while the remaining episodes will air at 24:55 (12:55 a.m.). The series will stream on Amazon Prime worldwide, and the first episode will be available on Amazon Prime one day before it premieres on Fuji TV.

The "steampunk survival action" story takes place on the island country Hinomoto, where humans hide themselves in fortresses called stations against the threat of zombie-like beings with steel hearts known as "Kabane." Only armored locomotives known as "Hayajiro" go between the stations.

The show stars:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Ikoma
Sayaka Senbongi as Mumei (Nameless)
Maaya Uchida as Ayame
Toshiki Masuda as Kurusu
Yūki Kaji as Takumi
Kanae Oki as Kajika
Mariya Ise as Yukina
Ryota Ohsaka as Sukari
Kensuke Satō as Kibito
Mamoru Miyano as Biba

The anime reunites director Tetsuro Araki and Wit Studio, the team responsible for Attack on Titan. Code Geass creator Ichirō Ōkouchi is writing the scripts. Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross 7, Gunbuster) is designing the original characters, and Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Aldnoah.Zero) is composing the music.
